KLONDIKE, CP Army Media Headquarters – The Challengers Cup is the hot-topic of debate, and the semi-final battles are set to take place tomorrow. As ever, we’ve rounded up the CP Army Media staff predictions for your enjoyment, with a few extra as we approach the last leg.
The results of the second round saw four armies advance into the semi-finals (click here for the timings), but only two will make it to the grand finals and have the chance to win the coveted Challengers Cup trophy. Who will emerge the victors? And who are the CP Army Media editors placing bets on?
So far, Ayan and Pookie lead the predictions race with 9/10 battles correctly predicted. Following their lead is Dino and Max, who both successfully predicted 7/10 of the battles. As we get closer to the finish line, we’ve added two more staff predictions from Koloway, Vice President, and Emcee, Chief-Executive-Officer.

People’s Imperial Confederation vs. Crimson Guardians
The staff predictions are overwhelmingly in favour of the People’s Imperial Confederation, with all six of the votes. After hitting an impressive 21 penguins at their round two battle, the largest tournament size so far, they seem to be the favourites to win. But could the Crimson Guardians, who reached 16 in round two, show up in full force?
Predictions:
Ayan, Chief Executive Officer: People’s Imperial Confederation
Emcee, Chief Executive Officer: People’s Imperial Confederation
Pookie, Executive Producer: People’s Imperial Confederation
Koloway, Vice President: People’s Imperial Confederation
Dino, Vice President: People’s Imperial Confederation
Max, Editor-in-Chief: People’s Imperial Confederation

Pizza Federation vs. Coup Crusaders
The staff appear to be split over this second battle, with 4/6 swaying to a Pizza Federation victory. This could be put down to Pizza Federation having a large round two size of 17 chefs, where as the Coup Crusaders managed to achieve a still-admirable 13. The Federation also had a tough round two battle, with the conflict entering overtime, so we can expect them to show the same level of desire to win in the semi-finals. But the Coup Crusaders, labelled the competition underdogs, have so far exceeded expectations… could they do it again and snatch the victory?
Predictions:
Ayan, Chief Executive Officer: Pizza Federation
Emcee, Chief Executive Officer: Pizza Federation
Pookie, Executive Producer: Coup Crusaders
Koloway, Vice President: Coup Crusaders
Dino, Vice President: Pizza Federation
Max, Editor-in-Chief: Pizza Federation

Both of these highly-anticipated semi-final battles are set to take place tomorrow, with the winners set to advance into the grand finals. Despite the editors’ predictions for a Confederation and Federation final, a clear victor is not set in stone, and the Challengers Cup could be taken home by any of the armies battling.
