Templars Declare War on Crimson Guardians; Transfer of Server to Army of CP

KLONDIKE, CP Army Media Headquarters – The Templars have declared war on the Crimson Guardians, but a server transfer means they will be logging on to battle the Army of Club Penguin.

Templar’s creator and leader, Xing, announced earlier today that the army is now at war with the Crimson Guardians, with invasions of their servers Thermal and Frosty scheduled for later this week. Xing made it clear in his declaration of war post that the reason for war was to reclaim land that used to be theirs in November 2019. The following is a short excerpt from said post:

We travel north to retake our ancestral homelands of Thermal and Frosty. The Crimson Guardians and their allies, still yet to be civilised by the Order Tide of the Templar Order, show great disdain to our growing power.

The Templars transferred from CP Online to CP Armies: The Game earlier this month, and have also recently dealt with a defacement. In their most recent event, the Templars claimed a maximum size of 23 troops, yet is was later uncovered by CP Army Media that they had in fact used bots to obtain this size (click here to read). The Crimsons, on the other hand, peaked at 11 in their most recent event, managing to get to the semi-finals round of the Challengers Cup. With both armies placing in the Top Twenty listings, this war is set to be very close.

But in a shocking twist that no one saw coming, the Crimson Guardians have transferred their servers to their allies, the Army of Club Penguin. This is despite the Templars stating a ‘No allies’ rule in their declaration post, so what will this mean for the armies involved?

CP Army Media spoke to Crimson leader Tsanami about the declaration of war:

Did you expect this declaration of war?

To be honest, we weren’t quite expecting it, but we assume that the reason it occurred was simply because of the location of our land. Not much happened “behind the scenes” before their invasion announcement.

How do you think the war will pan out?

All I can say is that we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

Do you have plans to counter their invasions with some of your own?

There currently aren’t any plans for Crimson Guardians to do that.

Following their recent botting scandal, do you expect them to play fair?

Well, we’re trying to anticipate the unexpected at this point. Although, that was interesting news to discover.
The latest war to outbreak in the community has seen some sneaky but smart tactics played by the Crimson Guardians, but will it backfire? And how will the Army of CP’s involvement play out later this week?
