Dino Retires from Lime Green Army Leadership

GREAT WHITE, Lime Green Army Headquarters — In a surprising turn of events, Dino announced his retirement from the LGA leadership.

The Lime Green Army has seen its ups and downs these past months. The army was shut down in December 2019 due to inactivity. Dino, along with several other veterans revived it in April 2020 and took it to turbulent Top Ten standings.

LGA’s Revival Event

Under the leadership of Dino, the LGA found themselves involved in many wars. Most notably would be their intense feud against longstanding rivals, the Recon Federation.

On 26th May 2020, an official post was released by Dino on the LGA site regarding his retirement from the army. The post was orientated around his time as a leader during the past month, along with the reasons for his retirement. In the post, Dino says that he would not be leaving the army as a whole, but would stay as an advisor, and manage the gaming community. You can read an excerpt from the post below, or read the full post on HERE.

Ave, Limes! For some time now, I haven’t been as active as I’ve wanted to be. This is due to a magnitude of conflicts of my own. Ranging from school-work, to being dragged around to other leaderships to aid in transitions. And, to be fully transparent, not the best has been brewing from the higher command. However, I want what LGA needs best. Therefore, I am submitting my resignation as the LL’s Cohort Leader for Club Penguin (the Lime Green Army).

We approached Dino and asked him a few questions about his retirement. Here’s what he had to say.

Q: First of all, how do you think the army will proceed without you at the helm?

I think the army will transition smoothly within me at the helm. Karma and Snapple have led before and are excellent leaders.

Q: Any new leaderships being set up since you’ve retired?

Nope. The army higher command is still the same. Only difference since that I’m not spearheading it anymore

Q: What are your future plans for the community?

I’m going to be playing a lesser role now but will still hang around. I’ve recently been hired to be a 2ic in DCP for the recent war against IW

Q: Any last comments or statements?

Despite this crisis, don’t think armies are over just yet. Don’t ever lose confidence in yourself.

With the exit of Dino from the leadership along with the army in a shaky condition, the Lime Green Army is bound to have some major changes coming but only time will tell what becomes of them.

What do YOU think about Dino’s retirement from leadership? What’s to come for the Lime Green Army?
